But, since you said the hobby is slow for you at this time, perhaps your initial contact process needs adjustment.

If, as your profile here states, the primary path to your boudoir is via your "book a date with me" contact portion of your website, likely you are turning off many prospective clients by asking for what some consider too much personal data.

I'm not trying to tell you how to run your biz nor shortchange you on your personal security.

But consider adding P411 to your screening process; I think this might help with the "slow" issue.

I think that ladies need to embrace whatever body type they are instead of hiding it as most guys in this hobby rates ladies size on different scale causing more ladies to fit into BBW type & to some ladies they want to avoid being called a BBW like the plague instead of embracing it & using it to your advantage . I don't feel that being a BBW provider means i have to have lower rates than other ladies if guys don't feel i am priced for them than i am not the right provider for him . I still feel that there is plenty of room for all types of different providers in this hobby .

I do agree that heavily 'shopped photos do a provider more of a disservice than otherwise. I have had photogs edit photos of me heavily and they were beautiful images, but I ended up just using the raws for hobby advertising, and kept the edits for my port. Aside from the false advertising aspect, I really felt that the edits kind of sucked all the character and personality out of my face.

I never pay for photo shoots- I do a lot of group shoot events which are a fun and safe way to shoot with a variety of different photogs in interesting locations. I also do TFP shoots with photogs on Model Mayhem, but they have to have a decent credits list or know someone I do before I'll work with them.

I agree with cpalm's thought about professional photos. I never prefer them. Although I also don't prefer selfies taken in the bathroom of a one-hour motel with nasty stuff laying around. Maybe there is a middle ground.

I love selfies. They are the best pics that show the real girl. I prefer them over professional pics. Of course, I do agree. If one takes a selfie, don't do it in a location that would have a negative impact on the viewer. At least, make sure the background is clean and inviting.

Pro pics are not "the devil" lol .... had no complaints from anyone about the real thing.
+1 they are about accentuating your gifts....I don't hide anything and i'm always sure to take at least one front-and-center pic. I don't go out of my way to hide my body and in many you can still see some stretchmarks. High % of selfies are kind of bad which is why I personally rarely bother to do them. I'm pretty photogenic just not at doing it myself lol.

One more thing I want to throw in about "competition" is one of the best things you can do is stop seeing others as such. Better yourself as much as possible everyday...you're in competition with no one but yourself.

I would add give it some time. I think you are new. It can take time to build your client base and reputation. A lot of BBW ladies do well in Houston. One way you can get out there more is the ISO forum. Lots of guys searching for providers on short notice. You can respond by PM or in the open so that more people can see you are available.

Some guys tease the ladies about doing this, but ladies say it is effective.

i will say i like a curvy thick girl. i am not picky on what body type im after in the heat of the moment but if the service is good, your rates can justify it. there is a huge market (niche) for thick gals. I see the skinny ladies charging $$.5 + just because they are a spinner.

The industry should be treated like a buffet, there is a dish for every taste out there and BBW is no exception..
I charge premium rates and get business, I have a mix of professional and selfies on my website and I know how to accentuate my "assets" . And for the record I can ride cowgirl with the best of them because im not insecure about my bounce or jiggle..

I rate myself based on the fact that I only want to see clients who love women of all shapes and sizes or prefer women on the more fluffy side of the coin ..

It really is about how you represent yourself, and confidence is very sexy, as well as being well-spoken ,, I have clients who love to spend time with me because Im excellent at conversation and go out of m way to make it an actual GF Experience. Flirting has become a lost art, and being flirtatious , personable, charming in a devilish sort of way can go a long way..
There are a ton of clients who look at personality, intelligence and character depth over just looks ..

you don't have to charge lower rates just accept your rates will affect your business. if more men are attracted to spinners and less bbw the bbw will either have to realize she will get less customers or accept lower rates. the same may hold true for blacks older providers etc. not neccesarily worse just not as in demand with overall public. take two average girls that are sisters. both draw average hourly rates. have them do a duo and rates go through the roof not because they become more popular but because they are more in demand because they fill a fantasy someone else does not.

take the girl conceived as hot sexy desirable but does not speak english well or does not have an incall or has limited hours. since much of her market is chased away she must settle for fewer clients or reduce rates. a guy who is willing to pay 300 hr for a 24 yo 120 blonde goddess may still see the same woman 20 yrs from now but as she is now a 44 yo 160 lb grey hair mature woman might wish to pay at the lower end

If your showcase pics are honest is the main point - then set your price and stick to it. Old pics that aren't honest is one of the cardinal sins by the ladies in my opinion. With honest representation by pics set - here is the main thing for me. I see honest pics and from that point its not what you bring to the game its how you use what you bring to the game - u know what they say about the brain being the largest sexual organ !!
