I’ll admit I couldn’t hold down a job at whataburger. I think $20 is a bit low, though. Something in the middle might really make sense. I often wonder why rates are the way they are. But really, it’s like anything else...what the market will bear.

Sadly, we don’t always pay people what they deserve...good or bad.

Teachers will never be paid appropriately. Firefighters, too. It is what it is.

But there are plenty of ladies who could make more money doing something else, but chose this for a myriad of short or long term reasons. I’ve had jobs that paid me more, but they weren’t as fun and didn’t allow me as much freedom to do other things.

Oral sex is "low risk" in terms of getting HIV. There is no transmission risks for receiving oral sex. You probably will not get HIV from giving oral sex either—but having cuts or sores in your mouth, gum disease, having an STI in your throat, or recent dental work increases your risk. - google

But remember, the CDC rates it as low (so low they can’t quantify it) based on receiving oral sex (CIM) from an infected person. Meaning, it is still almost impossible if you are with someone HIV+. It’s infinitesimal if you are engaging in activities In the general population.

The big risk of performing oral on a lady is HPV leading to throat cancer.

It’s hard to know if the hobby community poses a higher risk. I would say it evens out...higher risk because of volume and some forbidden topics, but lower because of widespread safer sex practices as compared to a singles’ scene.

Scatcat I’m sure will agree that no way bringing a 17 year old cat will put anyone at risk unless it’s like some of the trashy incall’s I’ve witnessed. I don't hobby in the under $200 range because it sends the message that there is a reason for it. Maybe high volume, maybe sketchy neighborhood, drama, or flakiness. Not necessarily true, but that's the message that it sends.

I also don't hobby in the high drama area or communicating like a hood rat. I'm not judging those who do, and there's something out there for everyone. It may be just someone's sense of style and not necessarily who they are.

Maybe I'm missing out, but generally I'd rather shell out another bill or two for a stronger sense of personal safety, lower volume, and that someone is more selective about who they see. It doesn't mean that I'm always getting that, but maybe it improves my odds.
