Default Alert Section; The question has been asked
I asked the question in here:

I know one of the MODS said they would ask the question, which was on 09/12, but have yet to get a response.

Anyone have any info as to why we do not have an alert section anymore?

Gotcha.

Personally, I prefer a dedicated Alert Section where I can read threads specifically focusing on keeping encounterees, and those encountered, safe or aware of alert worthy news; rather than having to sift through different sections.

However, the question was addressed.
