The recommendation is to give her a couple of 20's or a 50 at the door, do not go in, so she has her attention diverted: then run like hell before he comes out of the woodwork. You are still money ahead and you bought a few seconds of getaway time.
No, I have never done this: but I had one experience when I should have. It would have been cheaper and a better time than going in for a visit in hell. Why did I stay to visit an ugly drunk and then have to run home and shower?
