Magic Johnson bails on Lakers
One year - no playoffs - resigns
What to make of that ? Maybe Phil and Magic should be thankful they got their successful limelight years. Or maybe they are not as great as everyone holds them out to be.

Lebron was a bad decision for the Lakers.

You can't build a winning team when nobody wants to play with Lebron.

Always has been Mt opinion dream teams rarely work. Too much talent and too big of egos. That what made the 1992 dream team so special, they were a willing to set aside their ego for the best of the team.

Nope. They expected him to come in and turn shit around. One man no matter no matter how good he has been can turn a very shitty around and make them winners. Plus, not to take away from his accomplishments, he isn't a spring chicken. It takes time to develop a great team. Lakers have been so bad the last few years there is no way anyone could have made them have a good year much less have a playoff run!

I agree but. The rockets were something special. Helps that Olajuwon has got to be the most humble low key player in history. He let his greatness show on gametime. So modest as well. I loved our whole team back then. Amazing athletes. Amazing role models. Amazing team! Miss those days. My fav player when I was way young and just started watching was Ralph Sampson. Wasn't long till I had over 15 awesome years watching Olajuwon. And because of that I still love watching basketball and all my Houston teams.
Oh and BTW. Go Astros! #sweeeeeep
