				 Shelter at place order coming...

Kansas and Missouri will most likely be issuing the order by next week.
The writing is on the wall with companies issuing "Travel Restriction Exemption" letters to essential employees.
IE: Medical, Banking, Stores, Gas Station, Trucking/Railway and others.

Signed for the letter and photo ID from my employer today, good news is that I have a job, bad news is that I will be required to work no matter how bad it gets.
What I mean by that is that even if a coworker tests positive for the virus, those considered essential employees, will have to report to work.

To me the social and economical impact is far more scary then the virus itself.

and I agree it would literally be better to just limit certain things and just let people build immunity and unfortunately some get sick then to shut down the whole damn economy

Yeah but that might quickly stop because we are supposedly heading straight into a recession that is more devastating than the 2008 housing market crash. Smh.

I feel sorry for many of those in the hobby. The providers because volume is down and customers because many are impacted affecting their hobby budget.

I'm wondering how many divorces will occur cause the two will actually have to live together at home with no place open to go out to separately.

I sure as shit wouldn't want to be with my family for a two week vacation, let alone in a house with them 24/7. Which is why I live on the other side of the country from them.
I know I am not the only one in that position as I saw people at work yesterday fighting with the boss to be able to come in a few times a week for "people time" instead of taking a free two-week paid vacation.

Well as long as they keep the knives, guns and stuff for the coolaid locked up. One can live peaceably in the basement with no to little interaction.

I will be able to work. So as long as my work supplies are stocked or are available, I will have to venture out into the Apocalypse. Meeting the undead at wherever they need me.

Thank you for your concern: you are listening to too many reporters who have no idea of what they are talking about, and no knowledge of economics. But every car wreck and death helps to sell newspapers: sad, but true. |
