Default The Junky Horse

Somehow our former president found a way to make a public comment about Kentucky Derby winner Medina Spirit testing positive for a banned substance.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mot...?ocid=msedgdhp

I am stunned he has referred to this horse as a "junky." I can't believe he isn't totally in favor of someone (allegedly) cheating to win.

Actually the reason I am posting this thread in the first place is for all of you dumbasses that will follow this with your typical nonsensical "the democrats cheated and stole the election" posts.

I've only seen about 3000 of these lame ass posts today. You guys are slacking off. So here it is -- I set one up right at the net for you. Run with it. You're way behind on your quota for the day.

Sidenote: The first few words of a news article's headline are always the most important words of the entire article. Did you all notice the first 3 words in this article's headline? It says FORMER PRESIDENT DRUMPF

Apparently I will have to settle for this lame ass, catch all rebuttal that you favor so frequently.

Feel free to occasionally mix in a little originally if you are capable of such a thing

I will weigh in on this before anybody accuses me of stalking them.

Who gives a fuck what Trump has to say about horse racing?

The sport is dying, just like Trump’s popularity.

I’m sure that horse is excited to have a total jackass advocating for him.

what do you about the horse racing industry? not nearly as much as i do. who says it's dying? it was never a cheap sport you need dollars to be in it. The Sport of Kings as they say.

placing a few bets at the track once in a while doesn't count as in depth knowledge of the sport. as i've posted here several times my Dad was a thoroughbred owner for decades. even had a horse in the 1981 Derby.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1981_Kentucky_Derby

his horse is in the list. didn't win but he got in. that's an accomplishment in itself. he's also named as the owner. by that i mean not some stable, by his name. if you are interested you can PM me and i'll tell you which horse it is.

there are horse racing clubs where an individual can be part owner of a horse.

they get put out to stud. breeding fees can be lucrative

a horse can live 40 years. 30 years is closer to average. their racing career is about 7 years, tops. horses begin racing as a 2 year old. 3 year olds are considered in their prime. that's why the Derby is for 3 years olds only.

after the 3 year old racing season horses can be handicapped, by that they are required to carry weight. never as a 3 year old, only 4 year olds and up.

lol you don't take a horse that won 350k in stakes winnings to a glue factory. and that was 1980s purse money. double that today, at least.

When I heard this my first thought was, I'm supposed to believe the media now? If...If the horse was drugged then who did it? With all the testing done in horse racing did someone think this the case of the East German Women's Olympic Team? Two people could profit; the owner if he thought he could evade a drug test or someone who wants that horse (owner or trainer) to be disqualified and humiliated. I personally lean towards a third party. I can't believe that someone would be so stupid.
