Default The last great democrat President was Harry S Truman

I didn’t include JKFK because he didn’t make a full term.

Since Trumanit has been one democrat nightmare after the other.

Of all Presidents the top 3
1. DJT
2RWR
3 HST

... You could've included JFK. As he was surely bringing
conservative ideas to the Democrat party.

And the Dems in power couldn't have that...

democratic party in 1963 were mostly moderate/Conservative, they didn't have too many libs then. they were a big tent party.

so JFK was probably more conservative than the regular conservative democrats of the day.

Truman??? Well, his administration did lower the maximum tax rate from 94% to 91%. That's something for a Democrat. He cut taxes.

Other than that I'm not sure what he did that was all that great. I suspect he might have been able to keep us out of the Korean War, but don't know enough about that period to do anything but speculate.

I believe Bill Clinton in his second term did a pretty good job, thanks in part to Newt Gingrich and other free market Republicans who took control of the House. Clinton and Robert Rubin and Congress balanced the budget, reformed welfare, cut the capital gains tax, and promoted free trade. And Clinton didn't get us into any wars. Unfortunately, Democrats like Bill Clinton are few and far between these days. Kyrsten Sinema is the only one who comes to mind.

For the top presidents of the last 100 years, I nominate Ronald Reagan and Calvin Coolidge.

As to DJT, he had some great accomplishments, like deregulation and corporate tax cuts which helped lead to a booming economy and record low unemployment (before COVID anyway), good relations with Russia, an out-of-the-box foreign policy, and Operation Warp Speed. He could have left a solid legacy. Unfortunately the man's character and his attempt to steal an election will put him down there with Herbert Hoover and Ulysses S. Grant when historians compile lists of the worst Republican presidents.

Harry was the last one that truly deserved a Presidential Library.
I say that because of all the correspondence he wrote by hand. Need a library for that.
Nowadays, it's all electronic with speech writers and such.

Except for donny. Can there be a Twitter Library?

You're looking at it from 2022. In 1963, many of JFKs were mainstream liberalism. Liberalism has changed from the days when HH Humphrey warned about the outside of marriage birthrate and what it would eventually mean to society in general.
Just goes to show you how far the "liberals" have gone to the left. Socialists, communists, progressives, totalitarians, despots, and tyrants.

Don't be silly Yssup. Nixon's wage and price controls and pressure on the Fed eliminate him from the running. He wasn't one of the top Republican presidents.
