Hey Salty, If I had a choice between going through an art museum in Texas or browsing a thread with Eccieuser's videoclips, I'd pick the later. Now, if it were the Louvre, well, that wouldn't be true. But Eccieuser's an artist and when I've got a bit of time on my hands I enjoy his work.

As long as you're not hitting the RTM key, and you're one of the last people I'd expect to do that (you've defended free speech for people you disagree with here), it's not a big deal though. The forum is more interesting with people like Eccieuser and Lusty Lad around, and I hate to see them get pointed out. And the forum's also more interesting when people are allowed to be creative and expand narratives instead of staying strictly on topic. Although that's apparently contrary to the wishes of the site owner.

Of course I dont think the memes, GIFs and videos are shit. I know some are. They will be funny, thought provoking, mildly related (I'm thinking about the Batteries Not Included clip), or down right on point.
