The State Duma, the lower chamber of Russia's parliament, on July 22 submitted a bill that, if passed, will expand Russia's seasonal mobilization into a year-round draft.


As of July 23, Russia has lost 1,045,220 troops in Ukraine since the beginning of its full-scale invasion on Feb. 24, 2022, the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported.

That number seems inflated. Or maybe a better assessment would be, if true, why are they continuing this insanity.

Sooner or later, they will they decided as we did in Vietnam, or the way the old Soviets did in Afghanistan. Just pack it all up and leave?

In the mean time, how many more will die?

If we stop holding up weapons and playing politics with aiding Ukraine’s defense Russia may find themselves incapable of managing its war effort. Sadly the MAGAs were sold on Putin being a fair minded nonaggresor. And what’s the other silliness pushed by MAGA - oh yeah -Ukraine are Nazis. And what was the dumbest MAGA claim - - something to the effect of - Putin respects Trump and will cut a deal to end the war. The level of stupid in MAGA is astounding and is only exceeded by their gullibility.

Fully arming Ukraine is the only real solution. Allow them to start pushing Russians back to their border and peace might actually occur.
