Dumb firing. Wasn't for being a,con, just for being offensive.

She was great in Haywire! And you are correct, It was a settlement not a victory. People get fired for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes just for pissing off the boss.
Pro Business conservatives should be seeing this lawsuit for what it was. A nuisance suit that should never been filed. The only reason it went anywhere is because Elon Musk bankrolled it. I would bet that the only people to benefit from this suit were the lawyers involved on both sides.
Kind of like getting a short term sentence on a federally charged crime, when you know you have five percent chance of winning.
My father and his friend were charged with Illegal duck hunting in the Chesapeake Bay years ago, they didn't have any ducks, but they still ended up losing and paying the fine.

I had to represent our Grandfather, for being fired over his age, and being partially deaf, there was no way he could contest it in PA, because you have no rights, IF you are fired, the adjudicator in the case told us that, she then, asked if we'd take a partial settlement for his back pay and pension, we agreed.
She got twenty five months of partial back pay, and a partial pension, about 2/3s of what he was promised.
It wasn't all of the money, but enough that it was justice of sorts for HIM, not what we wanted, but, take what you can.
So yes, I do think in most cases a settlement is a win.
She was fired for likening the treatment of American conservatives to that of Jews in Nazi Germany. Lol. Such an idiotic drama queen who has no idea what she's talking about. She absolutely deserved to be fired, and I'm glad she was.

Well, she makes a case for it, and I agree, they weren't treated fairly under the law.
Edit to ADD: Well calling Trump Hitler is just as outrageous to say.
