Um, maybe don't get real sold on this. Long way to go. If it holds, great. He deserves credit. But a little discretion and patience might be in order to see how this really proceeds. Netanyahu is a fuck, and still immensely vulnerable to the Far Right. He could easily blow this up.
And similar to Trump, your advocacy for a Nobel is premature. Again, have patience. Insulting this year's winner and disparaging her country isn't adding to your cred. Or Trump's.

I agree with the thread title but must also observe that . . .
No other US president, Democrat or Republican could do it either. Not Nixon, Not Ford. Not Reagan. Not Not Clinton. Not Bush (either one). Not Obama and certainly not Biden.
President Carter came close with the peace agreement between Egypt and Israel. That still stands. Perhaps that should be given major credit for setting the stage for the Gaza agreement.
There certainly is strong potential for a lasting peace with major players in the Middle East ready to develop the area into a nice place to live while making it a vacation destination the way Lebanon used to be.
I am cautiously optimistic.
