I'd also be interested in the answer to ICU812's questions. The known sanctuary cities, housing known illegal immigrants in vast numbers, don't do anything to enforce the legal deporation of them. I think a good passive solution would be zero federal funding for that state until that's sorted out. Make them pay for it and the tune may change. No agents in the street risking their lives to enforce laws that should be enforced by the local communities. No extra cost to the federal govt for housing, feeding, and medical care for those people. It'll sort itself out, or it won't be my problem by proxy and tax expense.

Using American citizens as hostages in political hostilities, especially all the culture war issues, is the epitome of stupidity.

This whole immigration issue is a political stunt that both sides use to raise money from people who are dumb enough to fund these assholes, on both sides.

There are laws on how to handle illegals. Simply enforce the law. There is no need for masked thugs masquerading as Storm Troopers any more than the whole sanctuary city nonsense……or any of the publicized drama sent over social media….

And because there was no real accounting during the open door Biden years we cannot get a good number from any source.

At times, there were videos of folks walking into the USA by the thousands daily. Often the number reported each day exceeded the total population of my home town including the student body of the local state university.

When cities and states refuse to honor ICE detainers then ICE agents will go into the areas and arrest the illegals. Acting like they are an occupying force is just stupid. Much of this could have been avoided if the states would cooperate with the administration. They refuse to do that because it's Trump. If you are in the country illegally then you should be arrested and deported. If you don't like that then change the fucking law.

Most of this is happening because Stephen Miller and Donald Trump and many of our own citizens want it to happen. Don’t fool yourself. The draconian tactics of ICE and the Border Patrol are the goal not happenstance.
