Default What to do???? Sleep

Well with everything going on I haven't been sleeping. My mind is just racing It suck. What are some things I could do to get some great sleep?
What do you guys enjoy doing before you go to sleep like something you do every night before bed.(I know I know besides polishing your pole guys. Thats my job..lol )
So any advice would be nice..xoxo

Drink some chocolate milk and put on a good movie. It never fails, everytime I put on a movie I wana watch, I fall sound asleep! Lol

With all of the stress in our lives, one trick that has worked for me is to just leave. Go away for a couple of days. Get a hotel/motel room and just relax doing what you enjoy. For me, it means getting out in the woods, or on a river. I fish, not for the fish, but for the isolation. Bennett Springs has a trout stream, just 1.5 hours away. You can get a nice motel room and just set by the river if you don't fish, or fish with just a worm.

The point is get away from what you are doing now.
The problem is called "burn out", and everyone who works hards will have this problem at some time.

When I was young, I wanted to work through everything - never took a break - and worked hard for years without any time off.

Treat yourself to time for yourself.

If you don't have anything from a doctor to help you sleep, I will often take a couple of Benedryls or even some Tylonol PM (I do not know how to spell Tylonel. Sorry). Probably not the best advice to give but it will help.

I also taken Valerian root which does make your dreams vivid.

A cup of hot tea with some honey helps, too. I like Tension Tamer from Celestial although camomile is fine. The Tension Tamer tea just seems very calming to me and it tastes better than camomile.

Not being able to sleep is awful.

Have you considered taking a sleep test? You could be developing some sleep apnea.

when i can't sleep, i always rub one out. after 10 to 15 times, i still can't get to sleep, then i just go in to work.
