The guy with the swinger question. I don't see this as the same thing at all. It's not a profession you don't get paid for it. And most times both parties are involved at the same time.

For purposes of the OP's questions and concerns it is not helpful to cite a specific instance, reported on this board of a relationship that is reportedly "working" with two specific individuals as a basis for advice for the OP .... ..

... the specific instance cited has a "wild card" in it ...

.... a third-party who may not be comfortable with the reality in the future.

When does the "rest of the family" find out?

As I opined before .. there are consequences for our decisions and those consequences are not limited to ourselves ... they limit our mates/spouses/SOs and our "other family members" ... siblings and offspring.

"let his lady do it" - what if she actually likes her job? In any relationship you have the ultimate ability to leave if it's not working for you, but it's pretty shitty, imo, to try and dictate behavior of your partner (whether you're a man or a woman). Just like we like to say in Texas, if you don't like it - leave!

Regarding swinging: So the main factor for you is money? As long as someone's not getting paid for it, it's ok? You feel a guy who is ok with his girl going out and banging other dudes for free isn't a loser? To clarify, I don't think he is - if that works for them, then have at it, but I don't see much of a difference in the two situations just because of money being exchanged. Likewise, I don't see much of a difference where a guy is going out and banging other chicks for free (and his SO is ok with it) vs a guy going out and hobbying (and his SO is ok with it).
