My response was more in response to Pyramidor response to Ginger...

I don't feel unsafe when I see ECCIE girls who are reviewed. While I do possess a CHL, I do not carry very often because I feel safe most places I travel. Now if I'm going across country in my car or having to be somewhere late I don't feel comfortable, that's different.
I imagine if I was a provider, I too would feel it prudent to carry at all times. Maybe not for us ECCIE guys, but who knows who is watching her all the time, maybe even stalking her.... Some guys are known to stalk women for being polite, can't imagine what some guys would do with the illusion they are left after a session!

Years ago I had a provider and her pimp/boyfriend try to rob me at gunpoint. Ever since then I've carried while I hobbied. A provider did see the gun once and started shrieking bloody murder, so now I make sure it's well hidden

I think who ever is hosting should be carrying, just so that if the person who shows up isn't the person you were expecting then you have some protection. Whenever I see a girl I am prepared to lose that money, I hope it doesn't happen and so far it hasn't, but if someone really wants to mug me for $150-250, I'll probably just let them so that shots don't get fired and the police don't get called. That being said, the money is the only thing I bring in the room with me, no phones, no wallets, not even car keys, so at most they will get the money I was already prepared to spend.

Participating in an Illegal activity is one thing but adding to it with attempted murder if something goes wrong, stupid. Throw everything you have into a pimps hands and walk away and you still come out better off. I was robbed once at knifepoint because i was naive to think a reviewed eccie provider wouldn't rob me but I handed over the donation and walked away. Screen the providers and their reviewers and think with your big head. Be careful because this is an illegal playground but don't add to the charges. Play smart and safe

I'm kinda late weighing in here, but I wouldn't be offended by a provider carrying, as long as her piece never saw the light of day (Unless it's Ginger, in which case we would probably be comparing our sidearms :-)). The ladies' safety is paramount, and I want my lady friends to feel comfortable during our meeting.

That said, I would not carry to an appointment. Primarily because I would not go to an appointment if I felt threatened enough to need to carry.

Keep in mind that, if the cops show up, there is a decent chance that they can claim that there was a crime of violence:

MANDATORY Federal Minimum Sentencing:

18 USC § 924(c)(1)(A)(i); § 2K2.4
1st offense, using or carrying a firearm during a crime of violence or drug trafficking crime
5 years, added to sentence for underlying crime

1st offense, brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence or drug trafficking crime
7 years, added to sentence for underlying crime

1st offense, discharging a firearm during a crime of violence or drug trafficking crime
10 years, added to sentence for underlying crime

I always have it – at the grocery store, the nail salon, while hobbying, whatever... As long as it's a place where the law doesn't prohibit it.

Pyramider, I'm pretty sure that the only time the the law would be able to prosecute someone for carrying a legal firearm coupled with a concealed carry license, even while hobbying, is if they used the gun to facilitate the crime. I don't ever recall having to hold someone at gunpoint to get them to take their pants off. I'm just sayin'.
I noticed you pulled it out after I took my pants off.

So unless you have a vehicle that has keypad on the door to unlock it I would think your keys would be important. I don't carry extra money, credit cards or anything like that into the appointment but if I am going to an incall I have drive there so I have those things with me along with a phone on the way there. But no matter where I am the vehicle is locked and the alarm is on and the keys are my only way back in.

I guess the cops could consider spanking a crime of violence. But it is unlikely and even if they did as I have found out in this state justice is easily bought..
