Where did I say they shouldn't voice their opinion? I specifically said voicing their opinions won't change anything, but by all means, keep voicing them, it gives the trolls something to do. They need to adjust certain of their actions to change these forums...the fact they choose not to means the forums will never change.

We are supposed to get the forums defined within the rules set. It is the moderator's job to enforce them. As I understand it, mods are all volunteers, so you get what you pay for.

"change them yourself" - I guess a more assertive approach could be taken by many. There is a click to report a post, there is a webmaster email address that could be communicated with, other than that, posting an opinion is all I am aware of. Whining never accomplishes anything.

I didn't say you said that but telling someone to change it or GTFO leaves an impression that you believe only one of two possibilities exist.

I guess what I was asking was what your suggestion was for the first. GTFO seems pretty simple.
Now, perhaps you would say that it's not for you to suggest. That it's maybe for them to figure out. That might be correct but then again that might be the kind of trollish comment that many seem to be complaining about.

I could give them a roadmap to successfully changing these forums. However, 1) they wouldn't like it, 2) they wouldn't implement it, and 3) I won't do it. Why would I tell them how to take away my enjoyment in these forums?

The fact the masses can't figure out how to help themselves makes me realize how much separates me from them in this regard...I enjoy not being part of the masses...
