Except for one minor detail, I believe you're right Salty, and Perplexity was wrong. Google Gemini and Perplexity tell me that Fuchs was in Florida when she recorded the call. And it's illegal in Florida to record a call without the consent of all. In fact, it's a felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison.

I wonder whether that would be enough to get the case thrown out. I'm not sure. If we could find Blackman, tie him up and inject him with truth serum we'd probably get a good answer, better than from AI anyway. That's probably not feasible though.
