There will be no repercussions for this Agent.

The senseless loss of life here is horrible.

Almost as horrible: the CONSISTENT LIES of this Administration.

Whether you think this woman did wrong or not...

The LYING from Noem and Trump follows the norms that they have established.

Either of them could have been more objective and professional, waited for the results of their "investigation." Tried to diffuse the rancor and tension, calmed things TF down.

Noem called her a "domestic terrorist."

And Trump said she intentionally and aggressively tried to run the Agent down, and that these protesters are "paid agitators."

The damage that these statements have done is further destroying the credibility of them, ICE, and the Trump Admin in general.

Two questions for MAGA:

1) How do you expect anyone to have any faith that the results of the investigation into this shooting will be accurate, fair, and objective when statements like that are made up front?

2) When will you stop accepting obvious lies like this, holding these people accountable for them? And when do you stop repeating them as if you KNOW that they are the facts?

I knew a guy with a bad tail light. Cop Pulled him over just ta let him know so it gets fixed. He gave the officer a hard time. So he spent a week in jail for a id check.

Mere "Noncompliance/refusal to cooperate with officer's commands" is not criminal (not conduct under the applicable statute).

For the crowd who are more interested in LEO power than the law, note that the DHS title card says, First Amendment and Fourth Amendment considerations. You can't get much more un-American than not caring about those.
