JD, that is a pretty far cry from a wanna be cop running down a kid, escalating the situation into a confrontation, and then shooting him.
If Zimmerman would have done what the 911 operator said, ie, don't try to be a cop, the boy would still be alive.

That's exactly his point. It is a far cry. They are using a good law to get the guy off it seems.
The law is good. A guy killing a kid is evil. This should be about getting the bad guy. If the cops are bad guys too, then get them. The law is an excuse.

I like the term "urban dweller" it sounds so benign, as in an angry mob of "urban dwellers" looted and burned the city, or the suspect was described as an "urban dweller".

Grifter, if you are looking for serious debate or thoughtful discussions, you came to the wrong place. The goal here is for someone to present an issue or topic, and then those who disagree with the premise compete among themselves to see in how many different ways, including using varying sizes and colors of fonts, they can call their opponent a homosexual. Nothing really gets decided. It's like a grade school playground where the boys all call each other fags (like I did you, just to give you an example, I never mean, or take, anything personally) or poopyhead, and similar childish names. Some of us have tried to have an intelligent discussion, but it soon deteriorates to name calling, as stated. So if you want some fun, we are glad to have you join us. If you want reasoned debate, try the NPR site.
