Hey, it looks like Cruz opposes the NDAA and the income tax. I couldn't find any info on the Patriot Act. Still, I think I could support him based on those two issues alone. He has the typical views on social issues, but overall, he's better than a lot of Senators. I hope he doesn't become dazzled and corrupted by Washington.
That's the question I had before CBJ7 had to manifest his deficiencies.

Politically speaking, Cruz and Dewhurst don't have an inch of daylight between them. They aren't even 2 sides of the same coin. They are the same side of the same coin.
But Cruz won't embarrass himself in a debate. And he appears to have some convictions, even if I don't agree with a lot of them.
Support Cruz if for no other reason than he went to a top school (Harvard), graduated with honors, and is well spoken. I am sick of Republicans that were essentially C student frat boys gaining higher office and leading the party.
No more Dubyas. No more Rick Perrys.
And, since Cruz is Hispanic, it takes away the Dem's favorite tactic of squealing "racist" at every Republican candidate in sight.
